I was disappointed that TPR would not join me on my day trip by train to Plymouth. It was such a beautiful summer’s day, and he would have enjoyed the ride (even if the train was packed, especially in the children’s play areas and the sleeping carrriage).

When I reached my destination I decided to take the cliff walk. The route took me through a doctor’s surgery.

This was a big mistake. By entering premises funded by the NHS my progress was subject to a waiting list. I would not be allowed back outside again until my turn came around. This could take weeks.
